David Darnell was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 13 yrs. He was instrumental in inspiring many addicted men in various halfway houses in the Houston area overcome their respective addictions. He served as a role model for all who knew him. Unfortunately, his life was cut short when he was murdered on August 24, 2006. His killer remains at large.
