My son Hector was a very compassion person. There was nothing he would not do if someone ask of him. He made me very proud for everything he did in his time on this earth. Everytime we talked on the phone, he would end with a "I love you, mom. I remember on one occasion that his dad took us to Corpus Christi, TX and we went to the beach and while we started to walk sand was getting in my shoes, well, Hector Jr. took off his shoes and gave them to me so I would not get sand in my feet. I thought that that was so gentleman of him. Hector Jr. was so full of gentleness and that is why it hurts so much that I can't bear it sometimes. Even though its been 10 years since he was murdered it has never and will never be the same.
