Mitchell Byrd was brutally murdered in November, 2000. His body was buried in a shallow grave in Shepard, Texas where it remained until August, 2001. In a joint effort with the San Jacinto County Sheriff's Department and the family of Mitchell Turner Byrd, Texans for Equal Justice will assist with the distribution of flyers in the hope of gaining additional information into the murder of Mitchell Byrd.
