Protest Against Parole
Send letters, emails, or faxes protesting the parole of Rickey Carter
Background
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED TO PROTEST THE PAROLE OF A DRUNK DRIVER THAT CAUSED THE DEATH OF (4) TEENAGE GIRLS.
On December 19, 1998, four teenage girls, inseparable friends and cheerleaders from a high school in Brock, Texas, went out to rent Christmas videos on a Saturday night. A pickup truck crossed the center line and hit their car head-on. The girls were killed. The truck driver, Rickey Carter who survived, had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .16. As part of a plea bargain, Carter was given a 20-year sentence.
While Cater was given a mire 20 years for the deaths of these girls, the four young girls he killed and their families were given life. Justice demand that Carter be made to serve his complete sentence.

Re: Ricky Carter, TDCJ# 01009150
Dear Board Members,
Please DO NOT grant parole to Rickey Carter. As a concerned citizen, I am writing to protest the projected parole. On December 19, 1998 Rickey Carter, driving while intoxicated (BAC .16), crossed the center line with his truck and hit another car head-on. The car contained four young high school cheerleaders and all four were killed.
Justice demands that Cater be made to spend his entire sentence behind bars. In the interests of justice, public safety, and to lessen the emotional trauma for the victim's family, please consider giving Carter a five year set off before any future parole reviews.
Thank you for your consideration,
Sincerely,
