Protest Against Parole
Send letters protesting the parole of Chuck Edward Johnson.
Mr. Johnson has a December 1st date with the Paole Board. Note: California Officials have said that personel information included in protest letters are NOT CONFIDENTAL
Background
On October 10, 1993, Chuck Johnson while on probation strangled and suffocated Brittany Lynn Rethorn Riggs age 3 in her home. Her mom and Dad were asleep in the next room. Police found Brittany in Johnson’s closet covered by a trash bag, clothes and a toolbox. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
On 14 November 1995, a jury convicted Johnson of first degree murder and setenced him to 25 years to life in prison. Justice demands that he be made to serve his entire sentence. In addition, to lessen the emotional trauma the parole review process has on the victim's family, please ask for the maximum set-off for any future parole reviews.

Re: Chuck Edward Johnson CDC#K11650
Dear Board Members,
Please DO NOT grant parole to Chuck Edward Johnson. As a considered citizen, I am writing to protest the projected parole. On 10 October 1993 Chuck Edward Johnson strangled and suffocated Brittany Lynn Rethorn Riggs, age 3, in her home. Police found Brittany in Johnson’s closet covered by a trash bag, clothes and a toolbox. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Johnson was convicted of 1st degree murder and was sentenced to 25 years to Life in Prison.
Johnson will have only served 16 years when he is considered for parole.
I STRONGLY OPPOSE parole for Chuck Johnson, Justice demands he serve the full prison term given to him at the time he was sentenced for this heinous crime.
Thank you for your consideration,
Sincerely,
(Your Name)
