Send letters, emails, or faxes protesting the parole of Lynn Lewis Funk

Background
Please note: The following case involves sexual assault of a child. We have changed her name to Jane Doe to protect her privacy.

On 10 Nov. 2004 Lynn Lewis Funk was sentenced by a jury to 70 years in prison for the sexual assault and indecency with a child that occurred from early 2001 until 2003 when Jane Doe made an out cry. During this time she endured extreme pain and suffering at the hands of Funk. Funk was a close family friend and Jane's basketball coach. His actual service time is 20 years when his counts and inditements run together.

Funk is currently up for Parole review. Please write ask that he be made to serve his entire sentence. In addition, to lessen the emotional trauma the parole review process has on the victim's family, please ask for the maximum set-off for any future parole reviews.

Re:Lynn Lewis Funk TDCJ ID# 01275560

Dear Board Members,

Please DO NOT grant parole to Lynn Lewis Funk. As a concerned citizen, I am writing to protest the projected parole. From early 2001 until sometime in 2003 Lynn Lewis Funk repeatedly sexually assaulted a minor female child.

During this time she suffered and endured extreme pain. Justice demands the Funk be made to serve his entire sentence in prison. Please consider the maximum set off before future parole reviews.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

(Your Name)
