Protest Against Parole
Send letters, emails, or faxes protesting the parole of Brett Robert Hart
Background
Hood County - On October 10, 2003, Brett Robert Hart (34 years old) attacked an 18 year old young woman at her place of employment. He blocked the back door of the business open, and came up behind her and viciously hit her in the head with a hammer, fracturing her skull. Hart received a ten year prison sentence for his brutal crime. Though the physical wounds of Hart's victim have healed, the emotional wounds caused by his assault remain a daily challenge. Hart and his violent actions will most likely affect his victim's life forever. She is always afraid. Her knowing he is in prison provides some security, but knowing he can possibly get out soon, makes her very afraid. Please help us keep Hart in prison where he belongs.

Dear Board Members:
Re: Brett Robert Hart TDCJ ID# 01231330
As a concerned citizen, I am writing to ask that you DO NOT grant parole to Brett Robert Hart. On October 10, 2003, Brett Robert Hart attacked a young woman at her place of employment. He blocked the back door of the business open, and came up behind her and viciously hit her in the head with a hammer, fracturing her skull.
Justice demands that Brett Robert Hart be made to serve his full sentence in prison. The violent nature of his crime should preclude any consideration for parole. The victim, and society deserve to know that they are protected from violent offenders such as Hart.
Please DO NOT grant parole to Brett Robert Hart. In addition, to lessen the emotional trauma the parole review process has on the victim's family, please consider the maximum set-off for any future parole reviews.
Thank you for your consideration,
Sincerely,
(Your Name)
Your comments will include your name and address, and will be sent to Ms. Raven Kazen.
