Protest Against Parole
Send letters, emails, or faxes protesting the parole of Genene Jones

Background
On February 15, 1984, after deliberating for only three hours, a jury convicted Genene Jones of the Murder of 17-month old Chelsea McCellan out of Kerr County. Jones was sentenced to 99 years. In October 1984, a jury convicted Jones of Injury to a Child (a 4-week old baby boy) out of Bexar County. Jones received a 60 year sentence for this crime. Jones was denied parole after 10 years, however, she is once again in the parole review process. Justice will only be served if she dies in prison.

Genene Jones is a serial killer who worked as a nurse and preyed on the young and helpless. Though she was convicted of only one of her murders and only one of the injury to a child cases, Jones is suspected of killing as many as 47 children, and harming many more. The following link will give you an idea of how dangerous this person is: http://www.crimelibrary.com/notorious_murders/angels/genene_jones/1.html

Dear Board Members:

RE: Genene Jones TDCJ#: 00380650

As a concerned citizen, I am writing to ask that you DO NOT grant parole to Genene Jones.  Jones was convicted by a jury of murdering one baby and injuring another.  She is suspected of causing the deaths of 47 other children and injuring numerous others.  Jones is a serial killer who preys of the smallest and most defenseless in our society - our children.  Justice demands that Jones be denied parole.  The nature of her crimes should preclude any consideration for parole.  Please grant a five-year, or greater set-off, for future parole reviews.

Thank you for your consideration,

Sincerely,

(Your Name)
