Re: Larry Martin Roche, TDCJ No. 1079651

Dear Board Members,

Please DO NOT grant parole to Larry Martin Roche. As a concerned citizen, I am writing to protest parole for this offender. On March 3, 2001, Roche, driving while intoxicated, struck another car, killing it's passengers, Ruby Brady, and her fiancee, Patrick White. Mr. White was pronounce DOA at Baylor in Dallas. Ruby Brady was on life support until March 26th. She was in horrible pain, with multiple injuries. Roche has at least 7 prior DUI's, and a host of other charges dating back to the 70's. The day of the crash, Roche had failed to show up for drug tests and to fulfill other obligations of probation from a previous DWI conviction.

On November 1, 2001 Roche was convicted of two counts of Intoxicated Manslaughter with a Vehicle and sentenced to serve two 30 year sentences to run concurrently.

Ruby Brady and Patrick White were to be married and begin a new life together, instead Roche cut their lives short. Roche was sentenced to two thirty year sentences for taking. While Roche's wife and family can continue to visit him in prison, Ruby Brady's and Patrick White's families can only grieve and place flowers on their graves.

Justice demands that Roche be made to serve his complete sentence. In addition, to lessen the trauma for the victims families, please consider a five year set-off before future parole reviews.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

(Your Name)
