Montgomery County, TX - Jackie Dean Straps is violent sexual predator. On November 16, 2004, Straps was convicted and sentenced to 20 years for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. Beginning when she was 5 years old and continuing for a period of 14 years, Straps repeatedly violated his young daughter. He was proud of the fact that he took her virginity, stating that she would have lost it anyway. In addition, he sexually assaulted his mentally challenged son and a five year old niece. The victims of Jackie Dean Straps still suffer from the terror inflicted by this monster. They deserve the assurance that they will be protected. Jackie Dean Straps deserves to be kept behind bars for as long as possible.

Please DO NOT grant parole to Jackie Straps. As a concerned citizen, I am writing to protest the projected parole. On October 29, 2004 Straps pled guilty to one count of sexual assault of a child and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Straps had repeatedly sexually assaulted his victim beginning when she was only nine years old. Straps' victim and others fear for their safety should he be released on parole.

Justice demands that Straps be made to spend his entire sentence behind bars. In the interests of justice, public safety, and to lessen the emotional trauma for the victim's family, please consider giving Straps a five year set off before any future parole reviews.
