Re: Jack Eugene Vian, Jr. TDCJ-ID# 00623190

Dear Board Members:

Please DO NOT grant parole to Jack Eugene Vian, Jr. The heinous nature of the murders of Barbara Ann Dawson and John Tyer should preclude any consideration to parole Vian.

On May 31, 1991, Jack Eugene Vian, Jr. heinously killed his victims in a most brutal manner. Vian stabbed and disabled John Tyler, then chased, cornered and repeatedly stabbed Barbara Ann Dawson. Barbara sustained many defensive wound while begging for her life. Vian then cut Barbara's throat twice across, almost removing her head. Vian then returned to John Tyler and repeatedly stabbed him to death.

A life sentence for capital murder should mean just that. As a concerned citizen, and in the interests public safety, I am asking that you DENY PAROLE for Jack Eugene Vian, Jr. Justice demands that he be made to spend every day of his life in prison. To lessen the emotional trauma for the victims' surviving family members, please consider giving a five-year set off before future parole reviews.

Thank you for your consideration,

Sincerely,

(Your Name)
