Linda was a unique individual - Blessed with beauty, talent and an exceptional mind. She was a talented artist - always in demand for any class or school projects. She spent her last summer at Parson's School of Design in New York and would have returned there after her senior year at the University of Texas in Austin.
She had a great personality - wonderfully funny sense of humor and lived life to the fullest. She had a deep, spiritual side that was reflected in her art and poems.
She was greatly loved by all who knew her and is greatly missed.
Linda was in honors English and the following poem comes for a book of poems she wrote and illustrated when she was in 9th grade. It was an A+ project.
Cloud
My mind is like the weightless cloud,
Coasting on the wind.
White puff on a sky of blue,
Daydream without end.
Crusing, Lazy high above,
Wisp from sea to sea;
Yet lighter, higher fly my thoughts,
Should I set them free?
